We attended our first All Wheels Weekend in 2014 and have attended many more since then. This time we decided it was time to bring the Forty.

It all starts on Friday. We started by “Dragging the Gut!”. This is when you drive up and down the main artery (main street) of town. They encouraged this by giving you a punch ticket. They had someone at each end of town who would punch your ticket and after 10 punches you received a medallion and were entered to win a $100 gas card.

I got up early and headed down town to find a place to park. I decided to park in front of the Bakery, which ended up a good decision about 10:30 in the morning 😊 (the Scone and cinnamon roll were Great!)

So many cool cars, here are a couple that really peaked my interest.

It was a great time, with lots going on. They fly “Elvis” in for a concert on Friday night, this year they had “Valve Cover racing”, a children’s zone and of course the Lawn Mower races.

It was fun talking to people and we enjoyed sharing my car at the show. Watching people read the history and seeing the smiles. We attended the awards ceremony, and they gave lots of awards for lots of classes of cars. I received First Place for the 1940’s Original Class. It was a great end of the day.

The best part of All Wheels Weekend is spending time with Family.

Thank you for coming along on our adventure to All Wheels Weekend.
