The Seed was Planted

Ann and I both have fond memories of Lenard and Margarite, a retired couple that we went to church with a long time ago. They had a 5th wheel and would volunteer doing projects at churches. We are not sure who they volunteered with, but we both remember thinking we would like to do that sometime. Fast forward 20+ years. We  joined SOWERS. We did our first project in June 2020 and have done around 8 projects now. GOD has blessed us beyond measure, as we serve HIM. Not only have we been able to serve at many Christian organizations but have made many special friendships along the way.

I couldn’t hardly believe it when Ann agreed to getting a motorhome 6 years ago, then when I suggested selling our house and going full time she said yes again. We have had a great time on the road visiting family, friends, volunteering for SOWER projects and seeing lots of sites along the way. I invite you to follow along on our blog.

If you would have asked me 3 years ago if we would be living in our motorhome full time I might have laughed. I still like it over 2 years late. I surprised Burneall again when he asked me about doing a SWOWER project in Maine this summer and I said yes. Going to the North East is on the calendar for 2022!

I am the one that makes this journey possible. I was born in 2001 in Junction City, Oregon.  Just call me Burnie, named after the previous owner.  You can call that  silver Honda behind me “DP”, short for Diesel Pusher. Together we provide a home and transportation for Ann and Burneall.
