We were just in Reedley in January, why in the world would you go back in March? Well we had some projects we wanted to work on.
When we were here in January we scheduled to have dual pane windows installed in the house. The window project was completed just after we returned. The white trim around the windows really improved the look of the house and made it lots quieter and more energy efficient. It is really a cute house.

Along with a few other repairs we initiated a big clean up and ordered a 20 yard roll off bin. It has been a long time and when you have room, stuff accumulates. We spent a week filling it up. There was also lots of weeding, mowing, recycling, and tractor work. The project will continue after we leave with a yard sale and more trips to the salvage yard. Special thanks to my cousin Robert (and his equipment) and my brother Dan.

When we were here in January I decided to start working on my 1954 GMC. One of the things I hoped to do on this trip was get the GMC running, at least see if it would run and drive. It hasn’t run in well over 40 years, and it still hasn’t run. 🤔

Every time I would remove a part to work on it, I would paint it before replacing it. Our time was up in Reedley and the GMC looked much better, but still didn’t run. I am kind of disappointed, but hopefully I will get it going next time we are in Reedley.

We were able to accomplish a lot while in Reedley, which is great. The other Big Blessing is getting spending time with family and friends. Sometimes to eat a meal together, sometimes coffee by the motorhome, and sometimes just stopping by to say Hello and catch up.

God has Blessed us with a wonderful community of family and friends and it is a joy to connect with as many as we can when in the area. It was a great March but our time was up and we headed north this morning.
