Eclipse 2023 the “Ring of Fire”. When we signed up to serve at Aldersgate I looked at the map for the Ring of Fire Eclipse and realized that our camp was very close to the maximum, and happened on a Saturday no less. I bought the glasses ahead of time and this morning we were ready. Well the Eclipse did happen here at 9:19 in the morning, we know it was happening up there, but there was a cloud cover so we just saw a faint glow where e sun was and couldn’t really see the eclipse. I was a little disappointed, but we are saving our glasses for the full Eclipse on April 8, 2024. We plan to be in Lindale Texas where we hope to see the full eclipse then. Hoping for clear sky’s.
