The Last Load

We are on Trip number 2 to Reedley this month.  On this trip we have been in Reedley for a little over a week. While talking to a friend a few days ago she said “so you are uprooting you roots”. I said no we aren’t, our roots will always be here. Spending at least 60 of my 70 years within a 5 mile radius, our roots will always be here. Our life was here, most of our family are here and many long time friends are here. This is the place where we run into people in a restaurant, store or parking lot that we know. Where you will stop what you are doing and visit awhile. This only happens in a community, where we have spent so many years.

We have enjoyed our time here in Reedley this month. We have been able to spend time with so many friends and family. We want to thank everyone for taking time to get together. We have been Blessed by all of your visits.  If we missed you than hopefully we will see you next time we are in the area.

Our trips here have involved some appointments and getting the remainder of our stuff moved to our home in Idaho. The first trip we took my 1940 Ford Coupe back to our new home. We did a few things at our home in Idaho (one of which was fixing the front roof air conditioner on our Motorhome) then headed back for more appointments and another load. This trip we will be taking the rest of our stuff, most of which will go in the garage. The trailer has been loaded for a few days now, but today we hooked up the trailer to the motorhome and parked the motorhome so on Tuesday morning it will be easy to get ready and head towards home.

We are not sure when we will be back, but we will try and share what we are doing here on our blog and on Facebook. Feel free to leave a comment, or shoot us a text or email. We really want to stay connected. This will have to due till we get back in the neighborhood.  Check out our Trip #2 album
