Yes we went and did it, we bought a house about 20 minutes from Josh’s. Since I retired and we sold our house we have been kind of looking for a place by one of our kids. We had made offers on a few houses over the last 3 years only to get way outbid, in this crazy housing Market. This was fine because we have totally enjoyed living full time in our Coach.
When we were in Texas we saw a listing for a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with a 3 car garage and RV parking. Josh did a walk through for us and he gave us the thumbs up. He thought it would be a good fit for us. We thought and prayed about it and made an offer, not expecting the offer to be accepted. Well the next day we got a call and our offer was accepted. This is why we made the fast trip to Idaho, by way of California.
We got the keys last week. We will be heading to California to get a load of the things we have saved for the day we found a house.
Things have been very busy. It is much simpler just living in the Motorhome full time. We still want to keep the wheels rolling, volunteering with SOWERS, visiting friends and family, and seeing the country. We are not sure why GOD allowed us to by this house but he did. We are Blessed, Thankful and very busy.
