Today we added 6 state stickers to our map. What do these stickers represent? We decided that for us we would have to spend at least one night in our motorhome in a state before putting the sticker on the map on our door.
The stickers are more than just stickers. Memories go with each sticker. Maybe just a overnight Harvest Hosts stay where we visited with the Host, learned something about their business, farm, museum. We have learned about Maple Syrup in Vermont to Lettuce and Tilapia in Delaware. We have visited many of the best museums where they are preserving our history for future generations.
We have done SOWER Projects in 8 of these states. We have made friends with fellow SOWERs and Project Staff. We have supported and encouraged each project by using our God Given skills and sometimes the wisdom He gave us to complete a project. We never really know what we will be doing when we arrive at a project but we do know that GOD put that project in our path because HE wants us there.
Some of the states are where family and friends live. What a joy it has been to be able to spend time along our path, and to plan our path to be able to connect with family and friends along the way.
Then we come to Central California, our Home for over 60 years, Oregon and Idaho, where our kids and grandkids live. These states have a special place in our hearts.
So when I look at our map, I see more then just stickers, I see lots of memories. I feel so Blessed that GOD has allowed us to travel the path we are on. We have 12 states to go, and we are looking forward to the family, friends and places that are still in our path. May GOD direct you along your path, where ever it leads you, being a Blessing to those around you. Proverbs 3:5-6
