Three week ago we arrived at Timber-Lee not knowing the two other couples that we would be working with. Today we started our trip to New York, and we left friends behind. It has been a Blessing to work with them and get to know them. The gals worked mostly in the kitchen, either doing food prep or cleaning and organizing. The guys did many jobs, the biggest was finishing the stair rails on six stairways, the smallest was replacing a toilet. As most camps, Timber-Lee is very short staffed and having to work extra hard. God wanted us at Timber-Lee to support the staff however we could, so they could be ready for campers. This last week campers arrived, and it was fun to see and hear the 2nd to 6th graders excited to be at camp. Put Timber-Lee and all the other Christian Camps on your prayer list. Did I say it was hard to leave this morning? It was, but the adventure continues…
