My cousin Julie and her husband David live about 45 minutes from Camp Timber-Lee,where we are volunteering. When we were growing up, our families did everything together. We swam in the ditch, vacationed, picked grapes and just had fun playing together. We have only seen Julie a few times in the last 45+ years. That changed this week. We have spent our free hours together . We showed her around Camp Timber-Lee, she showed us around Kenosha, then she brought us to the O&H Danish Bakery in Racine, famous for Danish Kringle’s. My wife was in Danish Heaven! Then Sunday after church we went to their house for lunch and David said, do you want to go to the Harley-Davidson Museum? Well yes I do! We have had a great time reconnecting with Julie and David and appreciate them showing us around. Click here to view our album.
