SOWER Project #5 for Ann and I
Today was our last official work day at Cedar Canyon Camp. We worked with 2 other SOWER couples. Mike and Lucille McGuirk and Mil and Linda Sutter. We were all full time in our RVs and originally from California. We enjoyed working with them and did all kinds of projects for the camp. The ladies did everything from laundry to working in the kitchen. We all worked together to get a bunch of rooms ready for kids camp. From repairs and painting to getting the lights and smoke alarms working. This might be a shock to some of our friends but we and regular “game” night and Ann and I learned new games and had fun playing together. We also ate at a Mongolian Stir Fry restaurant, did a dinner show at Fort Hays and did church together. We will leave here with new friends and great memories.
