I was asked “Why go back to California?” My answer was Family and Friends is our reason to go back. We were at the “home place” in Reedley for a week. After visiting my Aunt Mary in San Rafael, we headed to Reedley. On our way, we stopped at my sisters in Fresno where she gathered the family for Sunday Lunch. This gave us a chance to see everyone. Thank you Marilyn for being such a great Hostess. We are sorry if we missed you and will try to see you next time we are in the neighborhood.
We continued our trip to Southern California but the trip took a little longer then expected, as I had to make a repair on our coach along the way. You can read our last blog or click here.
We spent a couple days at the Prado Reginal Campground in Chino where we connected with a couple of other long time friends. Stay tuned for more on how we are doing our RV Right of Passage on the next post. Take care and keep following along with Ann and I. Check out our Family and Friends album.
The house that my grandpa and grandma had built in 1965, after their old two story house burned down, is getting a much needed outside restoration / paint job. My parents also lived there till they passed. I remodeled the inside a couple years ago for my brother’s grandson and wife to live in. They have been living there since they got married and it is time the get the outside shined up.
It should be done in a week or two. If you drive by the home place let me know what you think of the new paint job.
