We finished our work here at Calvary Commission on Thursday. The time went by fast. We did finish the remodel inside and have the outside repaired and ready to do some prep, then it can be painted. On this project we worked alongside our wife’s. They took on the job refinishing the kitchen cabinets. This was a big job. They cleaned, sanded, primed, painted and picked out new pulls. The cabinets came out looking beautiful. Bruce and I worked on lots of different projects. We did repairs to the outside of the house, which included replacing a section of siding. Bruce replaced some boards on the deck, worked on floor transitions inside the house and lots of other jobs. I spent most of my time in the bathrooms, no….not sitting down. In the guest bathroom we removed a small cabinet, did drywall repair, textured and painted. In the master we removed tile, did drywall repair, textured, painted, installed a mirror and as a bonus we made a custom barn door for the towel closet. It was a joy to work on this project at Calvary Commission. We are moving to a different project but Bruce and Katie will be back and maybe get to finish painting the outside.
