Today Bruce and I headed off to the Maine Maritime Museum and Ann and Katie went to some Farmers Markets and a grocery store. The museum was great, well what we saw of it. I got a call from Ann, the battery light came on in the car and it died. It won’t start. We were about 20 minutes away and they were in a parking place at the grocery store. We diagnosed the problem to be a bad alternator, and were able to charge the battery long enough to drive our Honda back to the Fair Grounds. After lunch Bruce helped and we took off the alternator, got a rebuilt one at the parts store and replace it. It was not easy, but we had the tools and got it done. We are now ready to continue our adventure tomorrow morning.
We are Thankful for Gods provisions in this. It broke down in a safe place, close to the fairgrounds, the parts house was just a mile away and the weather was really nice. Thankyou Lord.
That’s life alright, stuff breaks! Thanks for the pictures from the Maritime Museum.
I was planning on having a photo photo album from there. You could spend a day or two there.
