David installed the rear main seal into the retainer.
Front and rear seals are in.
Installed the pan and painted the bottom.

I have spent lots of time in the garage since my last update. The cleaning and painting or polishing is lots of work, but then comes the assembly, when you see the fruit of your labor.

I was friends with Dave back when we both lived in Reedley. Now we both live in Kuna and I meet him for coffee once or twice a week. He has been my consultant many times during this project. He helped install the rear main seal.

Jim at Indian Creek Automotive Machine Shop surfaced my heads. Great little old school one man machine shop. There are not too many of these places left.

50 pounds torque
Easier to make sure everything fits before installing it the car.
The engine will get the clutch and transmission installed, then we will put it all back at once.
