We are moving the treasures we kept when we sold our house in Reedley, to our new Home in Idaho.
When we arrived in Reedley, our friend Lee was here to do some repairs on his motorhome, before driving it to Texas. Lee and Brinda have left California and are developing a property in Texas. We enjoyed spending a few days with Lee and he was a great help to us as he helped me load our stuff in the trailer. We think alike and packing the trailer was fun.
We weighed the rig and decided to take some heavy boxes of books off and then load some lighter treasures. The trailer is full and the door is shut. We will load a couple things in the car and we will be good to go.
I have also done some maintenance on the coach, like servicing our hydronic heater, having the alternator rebuilt and airing up the tires for cold weather.
Between all this we have been able to get together with many family of our family and friends. This is always fun when we come to Reedley.
There has been lots of snow on Donner Pass and chain controls. We have cables/chains in the coach, car and for the trailer, if needed. Not that we want to chain up. It looks like the roads will be clear and the trees covered with snow tomorrow, so we will be heading out in the morning. We will hopefully be spending tomorrow night in Winnemucca. I will let you know how it goes. Click here for my album.
