Niagara Falls is only about an hour from our site at Lighthouse Christian Camp. Ann had been to Niagara Falls and rode the Maid of the Mist many years ago, while attending a Orthodontic Meeting. I had never been, so Friday July 1st we headed east to check it out. It was amazing. So much water. The turbulent river approaching the American Falls, then the wider and smoother river approaching Horseshoe Falls. Standing right beside the massive amount of water just before it dumped over the falls. We didn’t take any tours or ride the Maid of the Mist and it was still totally Amazing.
Did you know that Niagara Falls is the Honeymoon capital of the world and has been for over 200 years. Our 42nd anniversary was only 18 days away so we figured we should take a commemorative picture. Then we had lunch at the Top of the Falls Restaurant. Click here for more pictures.
Hello again! I’m jealous–I have wanted to operate an excavator for many years! Quite amazing pictures of your work at the camp and Niagara Falls! Ann, are you and your friends making those work aprons? Great idea. We used to use canvas ones similar to that when we tied grape vine canes after pruning years ago. They held twist ties really well. We’ll be interested to see what tasks you are assigned next!

Running the mini excavator was a learning experience. It is different then the little excavator toy in kids playgrounds. It has become fun as I learn to make it do what I tell it too :-). Yes Katie and Ann make a great team at the sowing machine. They have had a lot of fun making those aprons. I remember using those when we tied vines, a long time ago. Thanks for the comment!
