We were looking at another short travel (a little under 100 miles) so I checked google maps to see if there was anything interesting along the way. I found the Kelch Aviation Museum. I sweet talked Ann into stopping and checking it out. It was a smaller museum, but really cool. The airplanes were ready to fly, but they only fly a couple of them a year. We enjoyed learning the history and stories of some of the airplanes. I love these museums that are keeping our history alive. It was situated at the Brodhead Airport. This is a grass air strip. I was told that there are a number of these grass airstrips in the area.
After the museum our stop for the night was another Harvest Hosts, this time a Natural Food Store, Basics Cooperative Natural Foods. We did a little shopping and spent the night in their parking lot before heading to our SOWERs Project. Check out more pictures in my album.
