They Caught up with me in Wyoming

I guess my time ran out, and they caught up with me in Laramie Wyoming. We stopped to visit the Wyoming Territorial Prison State Historical Site and they got me:-( I knew it would happen sooner or later.

Wyoming Territorial Prison was a U.S. Penitentiary in 1872 and later Wyoming’s first State Penitentiary.  For 30 years it held violent and desperate outlaws.  This included Butch Cassidy who served there for 18 months and was pardoned in 1896. They had a big display about Butch Cassidy and brought up the question was he a really bad outlaw or a Robin Hood of the West? The prison building was beautifully restored. It was a great self guided tour and we are glad we stopped by. Here is a link to the  album.
